More work on Clan Line at Stewarts Lane

  • To machine the faces on the steam manifold, it has to be aligned accurately to get a true cut. This is what is being done here.

  • Some parts of the ashpans have been damaged by the heat of the fire, so the old parts have to be cut out and new pieces welded in. The damaged parts are being marked out.
